Von TI USA erhielt ich folgende Antwort auf die Frage nach der Zukunft des Avigo
"Thank you for your recent e-mail.
TI has no announced plans to discontinue Avigo. Customers have
questioned recent price drops in Avigo by some retailers and statements
from some store personnel stating Avigo has been discontinued. Texas
Instruments has no control over this pricing, nor can we dictate
whether a store will continue to carry a particular product. Again, TI
has no announced plans to discontinue Avigo. Avigo users are encouraged
to visit the Avigo web site periodically for access to updates to Avigo
and other supporting applications. With Avocet’s
(www.avocetsystems.com) release of the Beta Avigo SDK, we hope to see
more and more third-party applications available in the very near
