MTV war für mich damals einer der Gründe, mir Kabelfernsehen zu leisten. Die aufwendigen Musikvideos liefen dann nachts stundenlang bei mir. MTV beendet nun die Ausstrahlung von Musikvideos und brachte noch ein paar letzte Songs bevor diese Ära beendet war.
Das brachte mich auf die Frage: Was wären meine letzten fünf Songs? Die Songs, die ich mir vor dem Sterben anhören würde (wenn ich meinen Tod so planen könnte). Oder die fünf Songs, die ich für mein Begräbnis vorgeben würde.
Als ich mein eigenes Musikarchiv durchging, stellte ich einmal mehr fest, dass Leonard Cohen der Künstler ist, dessen Songs einen wichtigen Teil meiner Jugend begleiteten (siehe Danke, Leonard Cohen). Daher sind die letzten fünf Songs, die ich hören bzw. spielen möchte, auch von ihm.
